The NYAA Gold Award 2017

The National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) Programme aims to encourage and motivate young people between the ages of 16 and 25 to develop personal qualities of leadership, self-reliance, perseverance and a sense of responsibility to themselves, society and the nation.

The NYAA Gold Award, which is the pinnacle of the NYAA awards, is presented to individual who have demonstrated holistic development in 5 core areas - service, skills, adventurous journey, physical recreation and residential project.  

On 3rd Nov 2017, 28 AJCians received their NYAA Gold Award from Her Excellency Madam Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore at the NYAA Gold Award Presentation Ceremony. We are proud to also announce that AJC has the highest number of NYAA Gold Award recipients this year among the tertiary institutions (Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, Institute of Technical Education and Universities).
